13 | An unannounced complaint investigation was conducted by T. Tran, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA). Upon arrival, LPA met with Patricia Sanchez, School Manager. LPA disclosed the purpose of today's visit was to deliver the complaint findings.
Based upon the information provided, interviews conducted, and LPA's observations and record reviewed, there was not a preponderance of evidence to substantiate complaints. As such the above complaint allegations, staff did not provide proper supervision for daycare children. Per staff, children were always properly supervised outdoors. Staff allowed the children to play and explore in a safe control environment. LPA inspected the outdoors and indoors area of the facility, there were no health and safety concerns. Facility kept the classrooms orderly and clean, and the outdoor gates/fences met the regulation requirements. The allegation regarding staff spoke inappropriately in front of daycare child, there was no corroborating evidence or no witnesses to support the allegation. Therefore, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Patricia Sanchez.
