25 | On 5/19/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanson Leong, made an unannounced case management visit to the child daycare facility listed above. The purpose of the visit was to discuss ratio, reporting requirements, and personal rights with the director/administrator, as well as to evaluate the director', staff', and teacher records and qualifications. The LPA was granted entry by the Site Supervisor, Marcia Friedrich. The LPA explained the purpose of the visit to Ms. Friedrich. All facility’s staff members have had their criminal background checks cleared by Guardian. The LPA observed eight staff members supervising forty-nine preschool children. Children's capacity and ratio requirements were observed to be in compliance,
The LPA reviewed the Director's and all teacher transcripts during today's visit. The LPA found that all of the teachers have completed the twelve Early Childhood Education (ECE) units needed by Child Care Regulations (CCR). The LPA further determined that the Director possesses the twelve necessary ECE units in addition to the three ECE administrative units required by the CCR to be a qualified Director. Based on review of the facility's records, the LPA discovered no deficiencies in reporting or personal rights in the previous or current year.. During today's visit, the LPA did not observe any children's personal rights being violated.
The LPA informed Ms. Friedrich that no further action will be taken.
