On 1/10/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Hanson Leong, made an unannounced conclusionary complaint visit to the Marin Enrichment School Age facility. The LPA was granted entry by the Director, Caitlin Schmitt. The LPA explained the purpose of the visit to the director. Guardian, the department's system for conducting background checks, has confirmed that all the individuals listed on the facility’s roster have been granted permission to work or be present in a childcare facility. The LPA observed four staff members supervising thirty school age children. Children's capacity and ratio requirements were observed to be in compliance

All relevant information was gathered and analyzed during the investigation, and all parties involved were contacted and interviewed. Based on information obtained from the LPA investigation, the allegation, day-care child was physically abused by other children in care, may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the violation did or did not occur; therefore, the above allegation is found to be unsubstantiated.. ****See Page 2 for continuation***
