25 | On 7/31/2024, at approximately 9:05AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jonathan Tse conducted an unannounced annual visit at the facility. LPA met with Licensee, Ronelia Oliveira (L1) and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during the visit was L1, two helpers, six preschool age children, and three infants. The facility is in compliance with staffing and ratio requirements on this day. The facility's operating hours are from 7:30AM to 5:00PM.
Daycare Areas: Playroom, Bathroom (located in playroom), Sunroom, Nap Room, Bedroom #1 (for napping only), Backyard and Front Yard.
Off-limits Areas: Kitchen located in Playroom, Bedrooms #2 and #3, Living Room, Kitchen, Office, and two other Bathrooms located in the hallway.
LPA and L1 inspected the home for any health or safety hazards. The home is equipped with fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguishers. LPA observed a carbon monoxide detector to be operational. There is a fire alarm system running throughout the home. Electrical outlets are covered or obstructed by furniture when not in use to be inaccessible to children in care. There are no fireplaces in the daycare areas.
LPA observed age-appropriate toys and learning materials to be present. Furniture is age-appropriate and free of rough or sharp edges. LPA observed manipulatives, books, and art supplies to be available for children to use. The facility has cots or cribs available for napping children. LPA observed cots to be labeled with each child’s name. Facility provides bedding and blankets. Bedding and blankets are washed every week at the facility. Per L1, the facility provides lunch and AM/PM snacks for children in care. The facility provides water cups for children. LPA observed the Nap Room to contain cribs that are in good repair. LPA discussed the use of baby walkers, baby bouncers, exersaucers, and johnny jumpers with L1 during the visit.
