25 | On 9/1/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Hanson Leong, made an unannounced case management visit to the to the Family Child Care Home listed above. The purpose of the visit was to follow up with the facility’s request to add an additional bathroom to their daycare. The LPA was granted entry by the Licensee, Reyna Lily Marin. The LPA explained the purpose of the visit to the Licensee. The LPA observed the Licensee and her assistant supervising two infants and seven preschool aged children. Children's capacity and ratio requirements were observed to be in compliance.
The LPA conducted a check of the bathroom for potential health and safety hazards. The LPA observed that the bathroom was clean and had appropriate hand washing equipment. Both a washer and dryer were in the bathroom. The LPA found that both the washer and dryer had locks for the protection of children. The LPA found that the detergents and chemicals were stored above the washer and dryer, which places them out of reach for the children.
The LPA will approve the addition of the bathroom to the licensed daycare facility on 9/1/2023.
A copy of today’s report was given to Reyna Lily Marin. The Notice of Site Visit was given to Reyna Lily Marin and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Reyna Lily Marin. |
