| On 10/23/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Julio Rodriguez conducted an unannounced Annual Random Inspection and was met by licensee Irma Camorlinga. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA reviewed current facility sketch and confirmed that the kitchen, dining room, living room, playroom, and outdoor play area are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by doorknob spinners.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
There is one fireplace in the home located in the living room and is made inaccessible. The fireplace is currently not in use and licensee has a locking iron gate for surrounding the fireplace when in use. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
This is a single level home and there are no stairs. LPA Rodriguez observed plenty of toys and equipment for children play time. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (559) 580-9179.
Licensee ensures that children in care are supervised at all times and is aware children shall not be left in parked vehicles. LPA toured the outdoor play area in the back and observed no hazards to children present. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
