25 | On 12/19/2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ka Vang and Joseph Pacheco arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced case management inspection and met with Master Teacher, Kiana Sanajouyan. LPAs toured the facility inside and outside. Facility is requesting to install a partitioned in the corner of the classroom that will be designated as a parent area that will take away from the useable square footage for children. According to the Master Teacher the dimensions of the parent are 10 ft 7 inches by 7 ft 9 inches. LPAs’ measured the classroom to see if the installation of this area would cause the facility to have to decrease their capacity down from the 20 they’re currently licensed for.
Room measurements taken and reviewed with Master Teacher. The total Preschool area minus the proposed parent area measured to an approximate 918 square which will accommodate current capacity of 20 preschool children. There is adequate storage space available for children's belongings. Toys and equipment are age appropriate. There is a drinking fountain located in the classroom which children can freely access. There is one bathroom with two toilets and two sinks for handwashing, which accommodate 20 children. There are no changes in the outdoor play area.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency is being cited during today’s inspection.
