25 | On December 10, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yesenia Fierro conducted an unannounced case management visit and met with Licensee Diana Alcazar and Carlos Contreras Lopez. A tour of the facility was given, and a census was taken. This visit was initiated by licensee to inspect the living room that were previously off limits and now the licensee wants it to be accessible to provide care for the children.
Current facility sketch was reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that bedroom 2, hallway bathroom, dining room, kitchen, are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of child safety gates and door spinners.
The purpose of todays visit is to clear the use of the living room to provide care. LPA observed the living room will offer more square footage to provide care. During today’s visit LPA observed age-appropriate toys, dramatic play equipment, chairs, tables, and educational materials in the living room.
LPA obtained a new facility sketch, and confirmed with the Licensee that areas accessible to the children will now be bedroom 2, hallway bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. LPA approves the immediate use of the living room.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Diana Alcazar.
