25 | On 03/07/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), conducted an unannounced annual required Inspection and was met by Licensees, Diana Alcazar and Carlos Lopez Contreras. LPA explained the reason for the visit. Licensee confirmed days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 24 hrs. Licensee stated there are seven (7) dogs in total, three (3) large dogs and four (4) small dogs on the premises, pets are not accessible to the children. Licensee understands the liability of pets around day care children and accepts responsibilities of any action taken by pets.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. During today’s inspection there were two (2) children present, children were having lunch during upon LPA arrival. Licensee confirmed that the living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and bedroom 1 are used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of safety latches and safety gates.
This is a one-story home. During today’s inspection LPA observed areas, surfaces, carpets, and floors accessible to the children are in operable and sanitary condition. LPA observed age-appropriate dramatic play equipment, toys, and materials, LPA did not observe a fireplace in the home. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. LPA observed licensee test the smoke detector and carbon monoxide. Licensee understands to test both smoke detector and carbon monoxide periodically for functionality. Licensee stated there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. Licensee stated that all poisons are kept in the garage. LPA did not observe any poisons during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. LPA observed the outdoor play area in the backyard is fenced and there are no hazards to children present, LPA observed age-appropriate toys and dramatic play equipment.
Licensee has a current roster of the children. An emergency fire/disaster drill has been completed and documented within the last 6 months. Licensee’s Mandated Reporter Training was completed on 1/17/2024. Licensee’s pediatric CPR/First Aid expires on 03/2026. A review of records indicates that all employees
