LPA observed solid waste container with tight-fitting lids in each classroom. There are 30 cubbies, 5 tables, 40 chairs, and 16 mats. Drinking water is available indoors and out by water dispensers.
Outdoor measurements:
UPPER PLAYGROUND (79.333 x 25.083) + (22 X 14 TRIANGLE) = 2,143.91
LOWER PLAYGROUND 55 x 36.75 = 2021.25
TOTAL PRESCHOOL OUTDOOR SPACE: 2143.91 + 2021.25 = 4165.16 sq. ft. divided by 75 = 55 children.
The playground is surrounded by appropriate fencing on three sides, the entrance side is 3'7" which is under the 4 feet requirement. There is tan bark as resilient material. LPA observed no bodies of water. Shade is provided by surrounding trees. There is a working telephone number for the center which is (831) 647-0551. No transportation is provided by the school.
Administrator was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA reviewed with administrator the LIC 311A, Records To Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted.
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform.
