Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mahnaz (Nancy) Malek conducted a case management inspection of the facility for the purpose of decreasing capacity from 84 preschool children to 80 preschool age children by removing Room # 7 (Conference Room) from the license. LPA met with director, Robyn Delgado who toured the facility with LPA. There were a total of 17 children with 5 staff in three different rooms. Currently the facility is licensed for 84 preschool children in rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. The licensee has requested to provide care and supervision for 80 preschool children in rooms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 for ages 2 to 6 years old, Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates that all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.
Director’s office area is located in the front of the facility next to the entrance and will serve as the isolation area for ill children temporarily until parents arrive. The staff/adult restroom will be used as the isolation restroom for ill children and is conveniently located close to the isolation area.
