25 | On 3/9/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Anna Chan and Stella Gutierrez conducted a case management unannounced inspection for the purpose of compliance issues in accordance to Title 22. LPAs and Facility Director Rebekah Bay toured the facility inside and outside and the floor and yard plan were verified. Census observed was 41 preschool children and 5 staff. During the inspection it was determined the facility is operating within its licensed capacity and within compliance of staffing ratios. Procare is the app they use for parents to sign in and out. Procare is also used by teachers to do name to face attendance during school.
During the inspection of the indoor activity space are found to be in compliance. Items which could pose a danger to children (detergents, cleaning compounds, and medications) were observed to be stored out of the reach of children. Menus and daily activities were posted. There is drinking water available by water jug and children use sports bottle with the child’s name on it. Children nap on cots/mats, and bedding is stored individually and is taken home weekly to be washed by parents. The play area is free from hazards. There is sufficient cushioning such as sand and grass and rubber mats underneath climbing structures and/or play equipment to absorb falls. The facility has a working carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguisher. Facility met all posting requirement.
In the areas that were evaluated, no deficiencies were observed of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 at the time of the visit. |
