32 | During the course of investigation, LPA interviewed 5 staff members, 4 children and 4 parents, and reviewed records.
LPA interviewed 5 staff members. 5 out of 5 staff members stated they have not witnessed facility staff not providing adequate supervision resulting in inappropriate interactions between children in care. Staff #5 (S5) stated, staff are all responsible to supervise children. Staff are always keeping their eyes on the children inside and outside. When they are outside, staff walk to areas where children are playing, they each have a location to supervise, yet if children are not in that particular area, staff will move to the area where the majority of children are to provide adequate supervision.
LPA Duron attempted to interview 4 children, however only 2 out of the 4 children qualified for the interview. The 2 children interviewed made no disclosures regarding the above allegation.
LPA Duron interviewed 4 parents. All interviewed parents stated they did not have any concern with facility.
Based on the interviews and record review, there are insufficient evidence to corroborate the allegation: Facility staff did not provide adequate supervision resulting in inappropriate interactions between children in care. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation did or did not occur in the day care facility, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Emily Martinez. .
