The outdoor space for preschool children was inspected. The outdoor space for preschool children measured at 8822.14 square feet which accommodates the requested capacity of 24 preschool children. The playground is fully fenced. The surface on the playground is pour-in-place playground flooring and grass. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground.
The preschool has a waiver to share the playground and bathrooms with the inclusion program. There are 9 toilets and 6 sinks in the bathrooms and 1 sink in the classroom that accommodate the number of children.
The classroom is equipped with carbon monoxide detector.

Orange county Fire authority has approved the requested capacity of 24 preschool children and is on file.
Based on today’s measurements of indoor/outdoor, and number of sinks and toilets, the facility did not meet the requirements for the requested decrease in capacity change from 48 children to 24 children. Based on the measurements, the facility has enough space to accommodate 22 children. The request of the facility for decreasing the capacity will be final reviewed and discussed with management in the Regional Office. The facility will be notified if any additional information is required.
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platforms.
Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. LPAs verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP on 12/21/2022. There is no lead exceedance on the facility lead report.
