On 4/10/2025, the Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office received a complaint with the allegations listed above: Reporting Party (RP) alleged that (1) staff did not provide adequate supervision to children in care, (2) unqualified staff are supervising children. LPA reviewed staff files, and facility provided LPA with facility roster.
On 4/15/2025, LPA made an unannounced visit to the facility. LPA conducted interviews with five (5) staff and five (5) children. LPA also reviewed personnel files, and facility provided LPA with facility roster. None of the staff and children interviewed provided statements to support that staff are not providing adequate supervision to children in care or that unqualified staff are supervising children. Four (4) out of five (5) children interviewed were able to name the staff that are regularly present, and one (1) out of five (5) children interviewed added that there are substitute teachers that come to the facility if usual staff are absent. Based on record reviews, LPA was able to verify staff qualifications.
The Orange County Regional Child Care Licensing Office has investigated the complaint alleging that (1) staff did not provide adequate supervision to children in care, (2) unqualified staff are supervising children. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No deficiencies cited. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Mayra Reynoso Rosales. |
