Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Sun conducted an onsite inspection for the purpose of an annual Inspection. LPA observed Assistants Diana Hinojosa and Stephanie Estrada caring for nine (9) children. Today children were getting ready for nap. Assistants stated they have 12 children enrolled in facility. Licensee was operating within the licensed capacity as specified on license.

A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility residents, staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions.

During today’s inspection, LPA toured the inside and outside areas identified in the facility sketch as accessible to childcare children. Off-limits areas: The home is a 1-story home with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen and a back yard. There is no fireplace or wall heater in facility. Off limits areas are made inaccessible by means of locked doors and safety latches. The childcare area consist of living room, one bathroom, and back yard. Currently staff stated children are not using backyard for outdoor play because they have construction in backyard. The assistants stated the back room is children's primary area.

There is a working carbon monoxide, smoke detector, and a fire extinguisher in the home that meet statutory and State Fire Marshall standards. Last emergency/disaster drill documented on 12/02/2025. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and other items which could pose a danger if readily available to children were stored inaccessible to children. The assistants stated there are no firearms and/or other dangerous weapons in the facility, and none were observed during today's inspections.
