25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted a Case Management-other inspection to check the Bodies of Water (pool) in the back yard.
It was an announced visit and Licensee Ms. Triana, Maria gave the tour of the home and the backyard. The Pool with a Jacuzzi in the backyard.
On today's inspection visit LPA observed the fence is Five feet high and the fence does not obscure the pool from view, the gate swings away from the pool, with a self latching device located on the top of the gate and Licensee has added a lock for additional safety. The fence is not climbable by children.
The day care room is the converted patio room with two sliding doors, ceiling, wooden flooring and surrounding walls. The sliding door on the right side is locked by a bolted lock from outside and it has sliding blinds covering the door with a heavy furniture in front, making the sliding door inaccessible to children, while the other sliding door opens into the back yard for out door activities. There is a window in the bedroom facing the pool which is off limits to the children.
Bodies of Water meets the regulatory requirements. Check list for Bodies of water was completed on today's inspection.
A license to operate a Large Family Child Care shall be issued upon Management approval.
Appeal Rights presented to the Licensee and a Notice of site visit was posted. |
