25 | On 2/6/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) S. Jung conducted an inspection for the purpose of an Annual/Random Inspection. At approximately 8:50AM, LPA was led on a tour by licensee, Maria Triana.
There were no children present at the time of arrival. Licensee stated that two of the four children enrolled had called out sick for the day, one of the four children only attend once a week, and another one of the children enrolled is their granddaughter who would arrive after school. Co-licensee, Julie Ura, arrived at the home at approximately 9:05AM. During the inspection, it was determined the facility is operating within its licensed capacity as specified on the license. Facility hours are 7:30AM to 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.
Licensees' preferred language is registered Spanish, so LPA asked Licensee Maria if they needed a Spanish interpretor. Maria denied the interpretation and confirmed with LPA whether their English was understandable. LPA confirmed that it was understandable, and co-licensee Julie was able to speak English fluently and interpret as needed.
The Facility Personnel Report Summary reviewed on this date indicates all facility staff or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Licensees was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
