Based on the Facility Sketch submitted, areas off limits to children and parents are: Applicant has designated the entire 2nd floor, family room, kitchen, front yard, and garage, as the off-limit areas. Applicant has a child proof safety gate, at the bottom of the stairs leading to the 2nd floor, ensuring the areas are inaccessible to the children in care. Applicant has placed child proof safety gates at the entrance of the living room, leading to the family room and the kitchen, ensuring these areas are inaccessible to the children. Applicant has a lock on the door of the garage, ensuring this area is inaccessible to the children in care.
Applicant understands that licensing staff may have access to off-limit areas during inspection visit if necessary.
Areas Designated for Day care activities: Applicant has designated the living room, half bathroom, and back yard, as the day care areas.
Upon arrival applicant will receive the children at the front door, to gain access to the home.
The designated Child Care areas were observed to have age-appropriate toys and educational items.
Per applicant, upon arrival children’s temperature will be taken, hands will be sanitized, and the children shall be taken to the designated day care areas by applicant.
COVID-19 guidelines and precautions were discussed with the applicant.
The children’s bathroom was observed to be safe and free of hazardous items. Applicant has small step tool for children in the bathroom.
There is a small and medium size dog in the home and have completed all vaccinations.
THERE IS OUTDOOR PLAY AREA: Outdoor play activities will be conducted in the backyard, which is appropriately fenced. There is jacuzzi and fish pond on the premises, which does not meet Title 22 regulation 102417. There is a trampoline on the premises, which is barricaded with a safety net.
The value on the 2A10BC fire extinguisher indicates fully charged, as indicated on service tag observed. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and are operable.
