On 11/12/2025, LPA made an unannounced visit to the facility and interviewed staff and children. Licensee provided LPA with facility roster, parent handbook, and children’s files.
During interviews, both staff and children reported that they have not observed parents entering the facility during operating hours. When asked whether there is a rule prohibiting parents from entering the facility, staff were unable to provide a clear response. Children stated that they have not heard the licensee inform their parents that entry into the facility is not permitted. Parents interviewed stated that there is no rule that prohibits them from entering the facility, and they could enter the facility if they wanted to. One parent stated that they do not enter the facility out of respect for the other children present, as they would not want other adults around their own child.
The Orange County Regional Office has investigated the complaint alleging licensee does not allow parents to go inside daycare: although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
No deficiencies cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee, Sabina Burdina. |
