Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Giselle Lucero conducted a case management visit initiated by Licensee.
Blanca Acevedo Soto has requested to add one bedroom which is an off limit area to the facility floor plan.

Upon arrival, no children were present. The home is a one story home. LPA viewed the licensed areas which are the child care room next to the kitchen, one bathroom located in the hallway and the fenced back yard patio. Licensee is requesting one bedroom to be added to the license. The bedroom is the 2rd door on the left hand side at the end of the hallway. During today's visit LPA conducted a walk through of licensed areas. The areas off-limits to children and parents are as follows: Applicant has designated the living room, dinning room, office area, master bedroom, master bathroom, 2 bedrooms, laundry room, kitchen, garage, and front patio as off limits. Children have to walk through the hallway to get the bedroom. Off limit areas are inaccessible by child proof door knobs and baby gates. The bedroom was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, ventilation, and heating. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, sharp objects, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are inaccessible in areas designated for children.

Based on LPA's observation the bedroom meets regulations and will be added to the facility sketch.

An exit interview was conducted, appeal rights given. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was read and reviewed with licensee Blanca Acevedo Soto in Spanish.

Licensee posted the updated LIC999A facility sketch in the facility.
