25 | On October 3, 2025, an unannounced annual random inspection was conducted at the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Long Pham. At 9:00am, LPA observed licensee Khalil Rozy providing care for 1 preschool child. The Licensee was operating within the licensed capacity as specified on license.
A review of the Facility Personnel Report Summary on this date indicates all facility residents, staff, or other individuals who require caregiver background checks have received criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. Currently, according to the Licensee, there are 2 adults including the licensee and 3 minors residing in the facility. Facility Day care hours are 6:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
During today’s inspection, LPA and licensee toured the inside and outside areas of the facility sketch as accessible to childcare children. This is a single-story home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a family room, a kitchen, a laundry room, a front yard (not fenced), a backyard (fenced), and a garage. Licensee stated the day care area consists of the living room, family room, the kitchen, 1 bathroom, and the back yard. Off-limit areas include all 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a front yard (not fenced), a laundry room, and a garage. LPA verified the childcare areas on the facility sketch and off-limits are made inaccessible by means of child-proof locks. The facility has a fireplace inside the family room covers by a metal fence that is inaccessible to children. There is at least one working carbon monoxide, smoke detector, and fire extinguisher in the home that meet statutory and State Fire Marshall standards. Last fire/disaster drill documented on 05/01/2025. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and other items, which could pose a danger if readily available to children, were stored inaccessible to children. Licensee stated there are no firearms and/or other dangerous weapons in the facility, and none were observed during today's inspections.
