32 | LPA reviewed Early Care & Education Family: Infant /Toddler Needs and Service Plans in infant’s files. LPA observed infant's food, snacks, bottles and sippy cups stored in individual containers and labeled with child’s name and dated.
LPA interviewed staff members. Staff members stated they have not witnessed staff not following the individualized infant food and services plan. Staff #1 (S1) stated, staff review the food plans for each child and staff know which children are still on formula or are now eating puree or solid food. Staff #3 (S3) stated, staff check the expiration dates every day before giving snacks to the child. Staff label it when they receive the snacks, and staff write the date and child’s name on it.
LPA Duron was unable to interview children due to their age and being non-verbal.
LPA Duron interviewed 4 parents. All interviewed parents stated they did not have any concern with facility regarding the above allegations.
Based on the interviews and record review, there is insufficient evidence to corroborate the allegation: Staff are not following the individualized infant food and services plan. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation did or did not occur in the day care facility, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Carolyn Wertheim.
