On July 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Dean Thompson conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection. LPA conducted the Covid-19 screening questions prior to entering the facility. LPA met with Director Saeideh Gharavi and advised the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. There were 6 infants in care at the time of the inspection along with three (3) staff. The facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

The Infant center has its own entrance door which is accessible from the parking lot and across from the preschool. LPA observed required licensing documents mounted on the wall inside the classroom. Sign in / Sign manual procedure was reviewed. Last fire drill was conducted on June 2022. LPA observed carbon monoxide detector to be working.

There are two classrooms available for infants and a separate room used for napping. Each of the classrooms have age-appropriate toys and furniture readily accessible for children in care. LPA did not observe any hazards/toxins items accessible to children. First Aid kits were observed inside the facility.

The outdoor playground is shaded and has an ample amount of space for children to play. LPA observed the playground has age-appropriate toys and structures available for children to use. Playground is completely enclosed by a fence. There are two separate playgrounds located in the outdoor space. The small one is for toddler use and the large one is for the use of preschool children. A waiver was granted on April 21, 2021 allowing for infants to utilize the toddler play area on a staggered schedule.
