Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ketki Desai conducted an unannounced Case Management Licensee initiated inspection for adding additional outdoor play yard area, without a change of capacity (120), at the above facility.
Facility Director Ms. Roe Chelsea gave a tour of the new play yard, located in front of the parking lot.

On today's inspection the capacity for Preschool remains at 120 and facility shall continue to use the previously licensed rooms (1,2,3,4 & 5)

The facility shall continue to use the previously yard in the preschool area, along with the Pool area (Bodies of water) and now the new play yard is being added for additional outdoor activities.

The new play yard is completely fenced from all the sides, it has two sections. There is wooden structure over the concrete area and a grassy area with fruit trees surrounding it.
The wooden structure does not provide enough shade.

Total outdoor space: 17056.53 divided by 75= 227.42 (227 children)

Based on outdoor space, facility has enough space to accommodate the current capacity of 120 preschool age children.

Licensee needs additional 8 weeks to complete the needed repairs, making the area completely safe for children to use.

Approval to use the new Play yard shall be granted upon receiving the corrections from the Licensee.

Exit interview conducted. Notice of Site Visit was posted. Director was informed that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post it will result in civil penalties of $100.
