• Staff Member S10 stated that staff use a firm voice to address inappropriate behavior but do not yell and noted did not witness staff to yell at children, grab them by the arm, or staff talk inappropriately in front of children. Staff do not use loud voice to talk to anybody at school. Diapers are changed five times a day, and they ensure children do not develop rashes.
• Staff Member S11 did not observe any inappropriate conduct regarding children and adults, noted that children are regularly checked for diaper changes and have not reported any rashes at school.
• Staff Member S12 indicated no instances of inappropriate staff behavior were observed. S12 noted children are potty trained and did not observe children with potty accidents. Children go to bathroom when they need to.
• Staff Member S13 stated they did not witness staff yelling but noted a specific incident between S3 and S4 that was perceived as rude, noting not observing any inappropriate conduct regarding children and adults. Children are potty trained and not observed any potty accidents. Children are taken to bathroom as needed.
Interviews with 9 older children revealed positive feedback regarding staff interactions. The children expressed love and respect for the staff, stating that staff do not yell or behave inappropriately. They confirmed that they go to the bathroom when needed and have not experienced potty accidents.
Of the ten parents contacted, two responded, both expressing no concerns regarding the allegations.
Based on the interviews with 12 staff, 9 children, contacting 10 parents, and reviewing relevant documents, there is not enough proof or evidence to support the above allegations occurred or did not occur. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging 1) staff speaks inappropriately while in the presence of children, 2) Staff do not ensure that children's personal care needs are met, 3) Staff yelled at daycare children, 4) Staff grab a child by the arm, and 5). Staff degrade parents and children by using loud voice in presence of children.”; although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove, the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Notice of Site Visit was posted. The notice of site visit must be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to post will result in civil penalty of $100.
