13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with facility representative Ali Ebert to deliver findings for a complaint investigation. LPA observed 80 napping children supervised by 7 staff.
The following was alleged: Staff did not supervise child's behavior resulting in other children being injured
During the investigation, LPA interviewed staff, interviewed parents, reviewed children’s files, and made observations of classroom interactions between children. Although evidence was conclusive that physical interactions occurred between children, it was not conclusive that it was due to lack of supervision from the staff. Evidence also suggests that staff is aware of children interactions and has attempted to mitigate them.
The preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the allegation is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. The allegation can neither be corroborated nor dismissed.
No Title 22 deficiencies will be issued as a result of the investigation. LPA reviewed this report with facility representative Ali Ebert, and provided a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days.
