On August 22, 2023 an unannounced plan of correction inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lea Habtom. The purpose of today’s visit is to follow up on the deficiency cited on August 17, 2023.

The census for today was 12 day care children which consisted of 2 infants and 10 preschool children being supervised by licensee and her 2 assistants. During the inspection, LPA Lea Habtom confirmed that licensee is not using the garage as day care space. Day care children were observed playing outside and not utilizing the garage space. Licensee will utilize the living/kitchen space to eat lunch. Licensee is aware that she cannot use the garage space until approved by fire department. As of August 22, 2023, LPA Lea Habtom has cleared the deficiency.

This report was reviewed with licensee Marlene Banham. A notice of site visit was provided to be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights provided.
