25 | Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Director Natasa Zivkovic for the purpose of a case management - licensee initiated inspection. The Applicant is requesting to increase their capacity from 24 infant children to 36 infants ages 0-24 months. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fire clearance was granted and received on 8/15/2024.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
The new configuration of classrooms will be as follows:
Rooms 104, 106, and 109/110 will be designated to the infant license. During today's visit, LPA Manabat measured a total of 1,283.03 sqft. which will accommodate the requested capacity of 36 children. During today's visit, LPA Manabat observed a total of four sinks and two toilets available for use. LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. Finally, LPA counted approximately 12 cribs located in room 109/110.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two outdoor areas on the property. The infant outdoor area is directly connected to the Merryhill building. The Director is aware that the infant outdoor yard measures for 2,416.29 square feet and will not accommodate the requested capacity of 36 infant children. LPA Manabat stated that the applicant would need to submit a waiver request for insufficient outdoor space.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director.
The following items are required before a license will be issued:
1. Final file review from Licensing Program Manager (LPM).
2. Pending two insufficient outdoor waiver requests; one for preschool and one for the infant component. |
