25 | On October 4th, 2022, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jeremey McClain and Matthew Gallo met with Licensing Representative Melissa Moenning for an unannounced Licensee Initiated Case Management Inspection. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 13 infants supervised by four staff members.
The licensee has requested increase the current capacity from 18 to 24 infants, in rooms 2 and 10. Room 10 was previously a part of the Preschool License (313623338), which the Licensee has requested a capacity decrease from 162 to 156, in order to accommodate the additional space needed for the increase in capacity.
Indoor Activity Space
LPA made observations to both classrooms. They are equipped with age-appropriate furniture and equipment. Adequate storage space and nap cots were observed. LPAs measured Room 10, which will now be an additional infant room. Room 10 measured 428.34 sq. ft. On November 26th, 2019, Infant Room 2 was measured to be a total of 641.15 square ft. The total space of both rooms is 1069.49 sq ft, which will accommodate the Licensee’s request for 24 infants.
Outdoor Activity Space
The outdoor activity space was measured to be 3653.51 sq. ft. on November 26th, 2019, which will accommodate the Licensee’s requested capacity.
A fire clearance that was granted on June 10th, 2022 was sent to LPA on September 16th, 2022.
As of today, the licensees request is approved for a capacity of 24 infants in rooms 2 and 10. The preschool license capacity will now be 156.
LPAs did not observe any violations of Title 22 Regulations during today’s inspection. This report was reviewed with the Licensing Representative. LPA provided a Notice of Site Visit, which must remain posted for 30 days. |
