13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with facility representative Courtney Williams to deliver findings for a complaint investigation. LPA observed seven infants supervised by two staff in one classroom, and 11 napping infants supervised by two staff in another classroom.
The following was alleged: 1)Staff does not ensure infant bottles are properly labeled. 2)Staff left a blanket over an infant’s head while the child was crying on the floor. 3)Staff did not transition an infant to a crib when they were sleeping.
During the investigation LPA made observations of food storage, conducted staff file review, and conducted interviews with staff and parents.
Although there is evidence to suggest that the allegations are true or has happened, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met. Because the standard has not been met, the allegations can neither be corroborated nor dismissed. Therefore, the allegations are determined to be unsubstantiated.
No Title 22 deficiencies will be issued as a result of the investigation. LPA reviewed this report with facility representative Hailly Fox and provided a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days.
