On November 2nd, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeremey McClain met with Licensing Representative Jenny Aguilar for the purpose of delivering findings for a complaint investigation. LPA observed care of supervision of five infants in one classroom, and 10 infants supervised by four staff in another room.
It was alleged that during lunch, staff did not offer food to a child, nor did they bring the child to the table with other children. During the investigation, LPA conducted interviews with staff and the District Manager. LPA also made observations to the toddler classroom. Based on interviews, it was consistently stated that the child was offered lunch and offered to join children eating at the table. It was consistent that the child denied food and coming to the table when asked by staff if they wanted to join. Interviews were also consistent that staff offered child food, although they were not at the table. LPA was unable to view footage of the incident due to time constraints of recordings.
LPA determined that the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met. The allegations can neither be confirmed or denied, therefore, the allegation is determined to be unsubstantiated.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies resulting from the investigation. LPA reviewed this report with Licensing Representative and provided a Notice of Site Visit that must be posted for 30 days.
