· Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on 08/2025
· Health & Safety Certificate – completed 09/15/2001.
· No bodies of water at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys.
· Current roster on file.
· Documentation of fire and disaster drills on file – Last drill conducted on 08/27/2024.
· Children’s records are not complete. During record review, LPA observed that C1, C2 and C3 were missing proof of updated immunizations. Additionally, LPA observed that C1, C2, and C3 were missing proof of the 15 minute sleep checks. Licensee stated that they do conduct the 15 minute checks but that they don't document the 15 minute checks. Licensee explained that they only document the time they go to sleep and the time they wake up. LPA discussed Infant Safe Sleep regulations with Licensee.
· Employee’s records are not complete. During record review, LPA observed that Licensee and Assistant Provider were missing proof of current non-expired the Mandated Report Child Care Provider's training (AB1207). Licensee's and Assistant Provider's previous AB1207 expired on 04/2024.
· During facility tour, LPA observed two infants, who were not asleep, in car seats in the on-limits living room area. Licensee stated the infants had just been dropped off and they were in the process of removing the infants from the car seats and infants were immediately removed by assistant provider. LPA advised Licensee on Infant Safe Sleep regulations and Personal Rights regulations.
· During facility tour, LPA observed a section of the on-limits backyard area that had bricks and other miscellaneous materials. Licensee informed LPA that they had planned to do some construction in the area in the future to expand the area where children can play. LPA advised Licensee on Operation of a Family Child Care Home regulations.
