25 | On 07/02/2021 at 11:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Destinee Hogue arrived at the facility to conduct a required annual inspection. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed with Licensee, Hercilia Serna:
Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm
OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Entire second floor, daughter's bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, garage, and partial backyard (fenced dirt area).
- No bodies of water present at the time of this inspection. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
- No guns or weapons present as stated by the Licensee. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key-locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 regulations.
- Storage areas for poisons are observed to be inaccessible and stored behind in off limit garage.
- All hazardous items were not observed to be inaccessible, at the time of this tele-inspection. While touring the facility, LPA Hogue observed a green grill lighter being stored in a kitchen drawer and a bottle of Lysol disinfectant spray was stored under an unlatched kitchen cabinet. LPA Hogue issued an Advisory Note-Technical Violation notice during this tele-inspection.
- There is no fire place at the facility.
- Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector is present and were tested by the applicant during this inspection.
- Home is clean and orderly, with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort
