25 | On 3/5/2025, at 02:34 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jesse Gardner conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase in capacity. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Virginia Plavec as they are requesting to increase their capacity for school age children from 60 to 86. Upon completion of today’s visit, the facility measures for an increased capacity of 26 school age children in classrooms #4, and #6. An updated LIC 200A was requested, to reflect the new requested capacity of 86 total children.
Hours of operation will be listed as Monday through Friday 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Present during today’s inspection were (58) children with (8) staff. Appropriate ratios and supervision were observed. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Licensee Virginia Plavec that staff are required to always maintain direct visual supervision of the children during indoor and outdoor activities.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new additional indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured for classrooms #4, and #6 was 921.44 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 26 additional children. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available indoors and outdoors via filtered water and children bring their own individual water bottles. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on January 7, 2025.
