On March 27, 2024 at 10:31 am, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Ana Noble, Anastasia Flores and Gabriela Hernandez conducted an announced Case Management inspection to increase the capacity. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Licensee Gayle Clark. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for School Age in Classrooms 2, 5, 6 and 7. Hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 7:00 am -6:00 pm. Present during today’s inspection were no children and no staff. All indoor and outdoor activity space utilized for the children was inspected today. LPA informed Gayle Clark that staff are required to maintain direct visual supervision of the children at all times during indoor and outdoor activities.

LPA continued to tour the facility and measured new bathroom. Total indoor activity space measured 2638.94, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 75 Children. LPA observed all indoor activity space. LPA observed age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via drinking fountain. Hazards observed to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on 3/11/2024.

LPA observed a total of 10 sinks and 8 toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 75 children.

The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area. Fencing brick, wrought iron and vinyl which is at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space exceeds 10,000, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. Shade is provided via shade covers. There are sufficient outdoor age-appropriate toys and play equipment available on the playground. There is a climbing structure on the playground which is properly anchored. There is adequate cushioning in fall zones of climber provided by wood chips. Drinking water is available via fountain. LPA observed all hazardous items on the playground to be inaccessible to children. Licensee Gayle Clark was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing.

For child care center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1- CCP).



No corrections are needed. A license for 75 children will be granted upon a final file review.

A notice of site visit was given to licensee and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
