25 | On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Perla Ordones arrived at the facility to conduct a third pre-licensing inspection to ensure initial corrections were completed prior to licensure. Present during this inspection was Applicant Laura Perez.
Normal days and hours of operation: Monday – Sunday; 23 hours a day.
OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Entire second floor, garage, and right side of the backyard that has the pool.
During visit, LPA observed that a five-foot-tall mesh-type fencing has been installed that surrounds the entirety of the in-ground pool to prevent direct access, including the outer windows and sliding glass door, from the home. Additionally, fencing contains a gate with a self-latching and self-closing door, which swings away from the pool.
Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
The application for a Small Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 6, or 8 with parent notification. |
