32 | LPAs continued to tour the facility and measured all indoor and outdoor activity space. Total indoor activity space measured for the preschool component is 1,276.97 sq ft, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested overall capacity. LPAs observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, cots, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water will be available in the classrooms via the children's brought water bottles. The facility has Brita filtered water and disposable cups. LPA's observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. The fire clearance was granted on 08/27/2024.
LPAs observed a total of 3 sinks and 3 toilets available for children’s use. These are sufficient to accommodate the requested overall capacity. There is a separate staff restroom equipped with a toilet and a sink in the staff lounge next to the kitchen. The isolation area for children who are ill will be in the lobby area near the directors desk.
The purple room was previously set up to receive infant children, however, Ms.Gates will no longer use the room, which has been listed as off limits on the facility sketch (floor plan). Ms. Gates understands that children may not be in those rooms at any time. Ms. Gates also understands that they must maintain enrollment limited to current space available.
Facility will provide morning snack and afternoon snack. The parents/caregivers will provide lunch. The kitchen area currently includes refrigerator, freezer, one microwave, sink and an air fryer. The kitchen area and food storage areas were observed to be free of rodents and/or vermin. Food will be observed to be properly stored separate from cleaning materials. Hazardous items in kitchen are inaccessible to children upper cabinets in the kitchen.
