25 | On September 27 2023, at 2:20 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Courtnee Peebles conducted a case management inspection for an increase of capacity, requested by licensees Nadeesha Misnagalage. The licensees have applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 08/23/2023. LPA met with Licensee and conducted a tour the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed and the following was observed:
· Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 6:30AM to 5:30PM
· OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Entire second floor, Laundry Room, Kitchen
· There were six children present
· Appropriate supervision was being provided during this inspection
· A working telephone is present and the current number is on file
· Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection.
· All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children
· Toxins are locked
· Weapons are not present according to Title 22. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys
· Current roster on file
· Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent’s Rights poster are posted
