25 | On 4/13/2023 at 12:14pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanette Sanchez arrived at the facility to conduct a pre-licensing inspection. The licensee was previously at 50125 Mazatlan Dr, Coachella, 92236, and has applied to relocate the childcare facility to this address. Present during this inspection were: licensee and children. The home is single story with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, with attached garage. At 12:33pm, LPA toured the facility, inside and out with licensee and the following was observed and/or discussed:
· Per licensee, off-limit areas include: All bedrooms, master bath, laundry room, living room, kitchen and garage
· Normal hours of operation will be: Mon-Fri, 5am to 5pm
· Smoke detectors and Carbon Monoxide detectors were tested by licensee during this inspection and were in working order.
· The fire extinguisher met standards established by the State Fire Marshal.
· All hazardous items were observed to be inaccessible. Storage of poisons and toxins are inaccessible to children and locked in garage. Sharp items including kitchen knives, are inaccessible and stored in upper kitchen cabinet. Medicines will be locked in master bedroom.
· No guns or weapons are stored in the facility as stated by licensee as of this date. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations.
· The fireplace is properly screened
· Clean, safe and age appropriate toys were observed |
