25 | On 7/17/25, at 2:03 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandra Pulido arrived unannounced at the facility to conduct an annual inspection and increase in capacity, requested by licensee Linda Murillo. The licensee has applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 7/3/25 by the City of Perris. LPA met with Licensee Linda Murillo and conducted a tour of the facility. There were 3 children present with Licensee and assistant when LPA arrived.
The facility operates Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 6:00pm each day. Certain areas are off-limits, including the entire second floor, office, laundry room, kitchen, both sides of the back yard, and attached garage. The facility is currently licensed as a small Family Child Care Home (FCCH) with a maximum capacity of eight children and is operating within the licensed capacity of the license.

A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed mounted on the wall before entering the kitchen and another in the hallway closet. A functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested by the Licensee, was observed. All hazardous items, including toxins, are stored securely in the off-limits garage and are inaccessible to children. No weapons are present, and the Licensee, Linda Murillo, understands that all firearms, weapons, and ammunition must be locked separately and made inaccessible as per Title 22 Regulations. Stairs are barricaded with a baby gate.
The facility provides clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys for children. A current roster is on file, and
