25 | On 8/13/25, at 12:47 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandra Pulido arrived unannounced at the facility to conduct an annual inspection and increase in capacity, requested by licensee Toneisha Brown. The licensee has applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 8/4/25 by the City of Perris. LPA met with Licensee Toneisha Brown, who guided LPA on a tour of the home. There were 3 children present with Licensee and assistant when LPA arrived.
The facility operates Sunday through Saturday from 12:00 AM to 11:00 PM each day. Certain areas are off-limits, including the entire second floor, down stairs bedroom, kitchen, backyard, and garage. The facility is licensed as a small Family Child Care Home (FCCH) with a maximum capacity of eight children and is operating within the licensed capacity of the license. Verification of control of property was received. Transportation services are available and Licensee provided proof of valid driver’s license and insurance.

A fully charged fire extinguisher (1A:10BC) was observed, however, it is not the required 2A:10BC; a citation will be given. A functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested by the Licensee, were observed. All hazardous items, including toxins, are stored securely and are inaccessible to children. No weapons are present, and the Licensee, Toneisha Brown, understands that all firearms, weapons, and ammunition must be locked separately and made inaccessible as per Title 22 Regulations. Stairs are barricaded with a baby gate when children are in care.
The facility provides clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys for children. A current roster is on file, and
