25 | On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Sutter met with Licensee Representative (LR) Jamison Charlton for the purpose of an unannounced required annual inspection. Upon arrival, LPA observed 33 preschool children supervised by 9 staff. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance. The facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
LPA toured classroom space and outdoor play area. LPA observed the following documents are posted: License, Parents' Rights Poster, Child Personal Rights, Seat Belt Law, Menu, Floating Capacity Waiver, Shared Restroom Waiver, and Emergency Disaster Plan. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector and full 3A40BC fire extinguisher. Cleaning disinfectants and hazardous items are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. LR stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, and toileting facilities are in safe, sanitary, and operating condition. The facility provides two snacks and children’s lunches are brought from home.
LPA observed trash bins with tight fitted lids. The facility uses an electronic sign in and out system. Facility has record of conducting fire drills at least every six months. The last fire drill was conducted on September 15, 2026. Playground equipment and surfaces are free of loose or sharp parts, and sand is present under the equipment to provide sufficient cushioning. There is sufficient equipment and toys, and shaded areas are supplied by awning and trees. Drinking water is readily available to children both indoors and outdoors. LPA observed children’s personal water bottles, which LR stated are filled at sinks throughout the facility. The facility has extra water bottles for children who do not bring theirs.
