Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christopher Bello arrived at the facility at approximately 9:20am and met with Director Zaahida Khan to continue and close a complaint investigation, regarding the above allegations. Later Administrator/Owner Mary Breeding arrived. Today’s census was 52 Children with seven teachers and four aides. LPA made observations, conducted interviews and gathered documents pertaining to the investigation. It was alleged that a daycare child was getting bullied in the facility. It was also alleged that a daycare child came home with unexplained injuries. Parent, staff and children interviews did not corroborate the allegations. Mary stated that they were not informed of the allegations and if they were informed, they could of worked with parent to solve the issue. Mary also stated that they do unannounced classroom observations and they have not observed any bullying. Based on LPA investigation although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated. There were no Title 22 deficiencies during today’s investigation. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
