13 | On Friday May 31,2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Piring met with Facility Representative (Director) Robin Rivas, for the purpose of an unannounced complaint investigation and to deliver findings. During todays visit, LPA observed 10 children being supervised by 2 staff in the preschool class, 7 children being supervised by 1 staff in the Pre- K class and 7 children being supervised by 1 staff in the early preschool classroom.
It was alleged that staff member left day care child unsupervised. Throughout the course of investigation, LPA conducted interviews with staff and authorized representatives, reviewed relevent documents, and observed care. Interviews with the director, assistant director, and staff members, were consistant that the child was never left alone due to a staff member coming out of the infant room as the childs class was going outside to play. Although the alleged violation may have happened or is valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met, therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative Robin Rivas. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
