On September 12, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams met with director, Cheryl Watt, to deliver findings for a complaint investigation for the above allegation. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. Census included 19 children being supervised by 5 staff members.

It was alleged staff did not properly report incidents involving a daycare child. Throughout the course of the investigations, LPA conducted staff interviews, parent interviews, child interviews, observations, and reviewed records. Interviews revealed staff typically notify parents of incidents verbally during drop-off/pick-up, writen incident reports, the CareConnect app, and phone calls for more severe incidents. Interviews did not reveal concerns regarding incidents not being properly reported. LPA reviewed records including parent handbook, admission agreement, and policies for reporting requirements. LPA reviewed a sample of Injury or Accident Reports. LPA observed the reports are signed and dated by parents as confirmation of notification.

After interviews, observations, and record review, LPA did not learn of any evidence to corroborate the allegation staff did not properly report incidents involving a daycare child. Although the allegation above may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

There are no Title 22 deficiencies during today’s inspection. Exit interview conducted and report reviewed with director, Cheryl Watt. A notice of site visit was provided and shall be posted for the next 30 days.
