13 | On September 12, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kyrsten Williams met with director, Cheryl Watt, to deliver findings for a complaint investigation for the above allegation. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. Census included 19 children being supervised by 5 staff members.
It was alleged staff did not properly report incidents involving a daycare child. Throughout the course of the investigations, LPA conducted staff interviews, parent interviews, child interviews, observations, and reviewed records. Interviews revealed staff typically notify parents of incidents verbally during drop-off/pick-up, writen incident reports, the CareConnect app, and phone calls for more severe incidents. Interviews did not reveal concerns regarding incidents not being properly reported. LPA reviewed records including parent handbook, admission agreement, and policies for reporting requirements. LPA reviewed a sample of Injury or Accident Reports. LPA observed the reports are signed and dated by parents as confirmation of notification.
