25 | At 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday October 25th, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Karyn Guerra met with Director, Julie Jenkins, for the purpose of a case management inspection. LPA observed a census of 18 children and 6 staff.
During today’s inspection, LPA followed up regarding water sampling that indicated an Action Level Exceedance (ALE) for a water faucet that was tested for lead levels.Faucet J was in lead level exceedance, greater than 5.5 ppb. Director stated that faucet J is a bathroom sink and is used for handwashing purposes. Director confirmed that the faucet is not used for drinking nor cooking. The facility has taken their own corrective action to replace the indoor faucet and retest the water.
LPA informed the Director that Grant funding for testing and remediation is available referenced from Provider Information Notice (PIN) 21-04-CCP.
No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted and this report was reviewed with the Director, Julie Jenkins. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
