32 | LPA toured all activity and classroom spaces, restrooms, food service, and outdoor play areas. Facility Representative stated that there are no poisons at the facility. Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of hazards. LPA observed the playground equipment and outdoor activity space is maintained and in good condition. There is adequate shade on the playground. Toileting facilities are in safe, sanitary, and operating condition. Facility provides breakfast, lunch, and PM snack. Menus were posted in the facility. The food preparation space is free of litter and all food was protected against contamination. Storage containers with solid waste have tight-fitting lids.
Drinking water was readily available to children via water pitchers and disposable cups. LPA observed electronic signature of authorized representatives sign-in and sign-out record. There are no firearms or bodies of water on the premises. LPA observed a functional carbon monoxide detector.
14 Staff files were reviewed and complete. At least one staff member present today has current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification. AB 1207 Mandated Reporter training certificates are maintained in staff records.
Six children's records were reviewed. It was observed that five out of six children’s records was missing LIC701 Physician’s Report.
Medications were verified. Medications are properly stored and labeled, inaccessible to children. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of “medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records.

Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for
drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test.
