25 | At 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 5th, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pa Dao Vang met with Director, Judith Domondon, for the purpose of an unannounced, required - 3 year inspection. LPA observed a census of 68 children supervised by 10 staff. Facility hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:45 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Center provide breakfast, lunch and 3 snacks for the children.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
LPA conducted a health and safety inspection of the classroom, restrooms, and food service areas. LPA observed the following documents are posted: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, daily schedules, and menus. Director stated that there are no firearms nor poisons on the premises. LPA observed an expired fire drill log with the last date of 9/14/2023.

LPA observed 3 inhalers with expiration dates. Director stated that she'll be sending the expired medications home with children immediately.
LPA conducted a health and safety inspection of the outdoor space. Playground equipment and surfaces were free of loose or sharp parts. Outdoor shade was provided by canopies, trees, and building. Water is accessible via labeled bottles.
