13 | On Thursday, September 05, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Stephanie Piring met with Facility Representative, Christine Tudor (Director), for the purpose of an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings. During today’s visit, LPA observed 21 preschool age children playing on the playground being supervised by 4 staff.
It was alleged that Facility failed to stop inappropriate interactions between children in care, and that the facility failed to protect the personal rights of a child in care. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed relevant documents, and made observations. Interviews with staff, director and record review revealed a behavior plan was put in place to redirect inapporpriate body boundaries between children. Interviews with Authorized Representatives did not reveal feelings that their childrens personal rights were not being protected. Although the allegation(s) may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations; therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Christine Tudor. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights proveded. |
